I’m really enjoying this class and I believe my knowledge in multimedia design will improve. In high school, I enjoyed my desktop publishing class and this class reminds me of those days. I have to admit I’m having trouble finding the time for podcasts but I enjoy them. Since the storm last week my whole routine has been screwed up so I’m trying to find a balance. I like our class and I’m wondering what will be next.
I’ve never used a photo sharing website before so Flickr was my first encounter. I think it would be great for class projects or sharing photos with friends. The layout reminds me of MySpace page which is very user-friendly.
This picture was taken before the snow storm dropped inches of snow on Louisville. It defiantly has a small hint of foreshadowing and it told me the big one was coming. It’s amazing only branch on the pine tree had snow on it. I didn’t really understand why the snow continued to stick on one branch and not the others. I’m sure that it has something to do with wind patterns or something. This was my favorite picture taken and funny enough this tree is being cut down because it fell on my house.
I can remember being thrown into this last semester and feeling so overwhelmed, this time around doesn’t feel so bad! I really enjoy using the Podcast directory in iTunes they have so many categories! I love taking pictures and my skills are really impressing me. I’m not taking any pictures of people or animals just random objects. I like taking pictures of large buildings downtown and bridges. In the spring my pictures will turn out much better because Kentucky is gorgeous that time of year.

Multimedia- is so broad and describes various things. In the classroom this could mean computer software such as Microsoft Office or a DVD player. Sound, text, technology are all included when discussing multimedia. I’m interested in learning more about digital multimedia.
